Masterpiece

To create a masterpiece, there has to be a defining aspect.
There are over a million brushstrokes that go into highlighting its source of inspiration.

The term “perfection” has a broad definition.
Mistakes can be made, as there is no way to avoid them all.
Not every line can be drawn straight, nor every curve made perfect.
Embrace them, for they all contribute to making the piece masterful.

The beauty of it all is that there are so many ways to create a masterpiece,
so many techniques that can be employed.

Whether through the love of a heart filled with butterflies
that sing with utter grace,
or the bliss of soiled concrete,
broken from the emotion that rumbles beneath it,
seeking a means to escape
radiating the very depth of feeling,
the need to be shown that it, too, cares.

There isn’t just one aspect that makes something special;
collectively, it is represented as a whole.
The beauty of something so simple,
brought to life in a way never thought possible,
expanded in contrast
the different shapes that vary in thought.

Sloping sides, oblong lines running off the canvas,
a massive heart drawn with eyes and a face.
A heart that sings in utter joy,
a heart that equates to the very throb of heaven itself.

When God created you, there were no mistakes,
for you are beautifully perfect.
