I didn’t really fall in love
With the trailer.
It got my attention enough
To become curious about you.
The things you’ll do.
The things you’ve been through.
I memorized the way you smiled
The way your jaw slid back
The way your face tightened.
You have a lot of muscles in your face.
Although I laughed.
It was a pleasure to see you finally enjoy yourself.
Despite how your heart broke.
It was comforting to see you pick
Yourself back up.
You ran, you cried, even kissed
And made up.
Within the span of two hours.
I sat in this chair.
I sat back. Leaned up.
Laughed, even got pissed off
When you were mad.
Taking it all in.
Hard times are hard times.
But what makes the difference
Is knowing that someone is there.
Within the span of two hours.
You became a lover, a friend,
A hurricane, the spark that set
Me on fire.
As real as you made me feel.
I only know you because the credits
Told me to.
I know nothing about the real you
Nothing About You
